Most beginner note-takers, especially engineers, will go crazy when they build their first system. They will build elaborate data view queries so they can pull in all their tasks in order of priority.

I have fallen into this trap myself, but after I mastered the art of note-making, I've realized that there is value in the experience of friction when writing notes.

For example, going through your daily notes during your weekly review will force you to read them properly. You don't get this experience when you just pull them in with a dataview query. Then they just appear and don't have any meaning.
